I am always inspired by the music of Bach. This Prelude from his cello suite No. 1 has been my companion for many years. I have created a special version of this piece, combining the infamous Ave Maria by Gounod and adding a few exciting passages to keep the soprano player on their toes. I hope that you find lots of joy playing this special piece with your friends and will enjoy it as much as I do when I play it in concerts with my wife, Aiwen.
